Dyslexia can pose significant challenges for students. Dyslexia D.U.E.T.S provides comprehensive dyslexia assessment services, offering insights into effective support strategies. We work collaboratively with teachers and parents to ensure that students receive the necessary resources and interventions to thrive in their educational journey.
Understanding Screening for Specific Learning Difficulties
Screening tests offer insight into an individual’s strengths and areas of difficulty, helping to indicate the likelihood of a specific learning difficulty (SpLD), such as dyslexia.
While these tests do not provide a formal diagnosis (which requires a comprehensive diagnostic assessment), they can serve as an accessible first step in identifying whether a child or adult may benefit from additional support.
We offer one to one screening services for students aged 5-18 years.
Screening in Schools
Children in the UK are not routinely screened for dyslexia or other SpLDs. However, many schools implement screening tools to inform tailored support strategies for pupils struggling with literacy.
These screenings can help pinpoint those who might benefit from interventions or who should be considered for a full diagnostic assessment.
We offer personlised screening services for schools.
